Job Role :
Developing various dosage forms like solid orals, liquids, semisolids, Injectable, Transdermal patches for US/EU/ROW/domestic market as and when instructed by the management. Projects to identify the gaps between project status and the set timelines and take corrective and preventive actions to meet the timelines.
1. To work out a project plan specifying timelines and target completion dates.
2. To track the projects to identify the gaps between project status and the set timelines and take corrective and preventive actions to meet the timelines.
3. To create and design a suitable formula for products under development.
4. To follow up and to ensure the availability of raw materials, packing materials, equipment and spares required for development work and to manage inventories of supplies, API and raw materials.
5. To conduct literature search and draw relevant conclusions which would help in formulation design and development.
6. To organize, design and arrange the procedures for experimentation, scale up fabrication and formulation evolution.
7. To conduct feasibility and formula optimization trials as and when instructed by the management.
8. To look after the proper functioning of the packaging assessment processes and procedures related to the improvement of formulation.
9. To handle the work of evaluating the apparent outcomes and solutions during the formulation surveys and assessing the patent literature investigation methods.
10. Conduct stability studies on developed formulations.
11. Interact with various departments like API, Finance, Manufacturing, Maintenance, QA, Supply chain, stores, HR and marketing to ensure that project is deliverable on time.
12. Scale up and execution of exhibit batches and to prepare technical documents and Pharmaceutical Development Report.
13. Regular support for the scale up, troubleshooting and functioning processes

Conducting feasibility and formula optimization trials as and when instructed by the management
Prepares and manages multiple project budgets and Capital budgets for formulation development and pilot plant operations
responsible for formulation, lab scale development, process and product development, optimization and scale-up projects
Serves as project leader for teams consisting of QA, QC, Validation, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Production, R&D, and Supply Chain charged with projects pertaining to formulation and process development.
