Job Description:
- Incumbent will be working in the continuous improvement team in API Manufacturing Continuous Improvement - Drug Substance Manufacturing Incumbent will be working in the continuous improvement team in API Manufacturing Should be a post graduate in Chemistry with 8- 10 Years experience Should understand process requirements through regular discussion with API manufacturing team. Should support technically to API manufacturing team during scale- up, validations and commercial manufacturing. Should conduct or support for modifications, changes, use tests, solvent recoveries, 2nd crop isolation, rework, reprocess, risk assessment and quality and yield improvement within quality and regulatory system. Should understand the manufacturing process from R D and verify in Process Development lab before going to manufacturing scale. The role holder should manage to conduct experiments related for supporting to API manufacturing activities. Optimizing the process by considering the yield, quality, cost and safety operations of the process. Performing user trials for key raw materials, raw materials, reagents and solvents for verification, vendor evaluation and alternative vendor development. Should support technically/ scientifically to API manufacturing team for investigations, deviations, justifications and technical write- ups. Should support for preparation of reference standards and impurity standards. Should record all observations, experiment findings and experiment details in lab note book with proper supporting records. Handling of hazardous chemicals and hazardous reactions without compromising safety. Support for the documentation preparation and review work. Enhancing communication skills by participating in training session
